Pulling up the numbers.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 157 points, or around two-thirds of a percent, to 24,527.
The S&P 500 rose more than half-a-percent to 2,651.
The Nasdaq jumped by almost one percent to 7,098.
South Korean stocks jumped on Wednesday on signs of progress in trade talks between the U.S. and China.
The benchmark KOSPI rose almost 30 points, or one-point-four-four percent, to 2.082.
The tech-heavy KOSDAQ spiked over two-point-three percent to 676.
