Monday's market wrap

And now to the closing figures on the market,... Wall Street fell on Monday, with major indices dropping in a broad decline as positive corporate earnings reports failed to boost investor sentiment.
The Dow Jones fell 148 points, or zero-point-6 percent to 24,163,... and the S&P 500 also lost a little less than one-percent to 2,648, the first fall of the past four sessions.
The tech-heavy Nasdaq, also lost ground,... down zero-point-7 percent at 7,066.
Korea's main benchmark KOSPI, however, was in a different mood,... ending the last session of April up,... reaching a near three-month high, with improved market sentiment following last Friday's inter-Korean summit.
The junior index KOSDAQ, however, shed over one-percent to close the day at 875-point-9.
