The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell zero-point-two percent, or 56 points, to close at 26,430.
The S&P 500 fell zero-point-one to 2,880.
The Nasdaq edged up two points to 7,738.

They finished higher Tuesday with shares in France leading the way.
