Taking a look at the markets.... starting in the U.S.
The S&P 500 and Nasdaq fell on Thursday, as the tech sector snapped a rally and investors turned to safer bets. The Dow bucked the downward trend though.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average added 95 points, or zero-point-four percent, to 25,241.
The S&P dipped a touch at 2,770.
The tech heavy NASDAQ took the biggest hit, falling zero-point-seven percent, to 7,635.

Stocks closed higher for a fifth session in a row on Thursday as U.S. lawmakers moved to restrict President Trump's authority on imposing tariffs.
The benchmark KOSPI jumped nearly 17 points, or zero-point-seven percent, to close at 2,470.
The secondary KOSDAQ was up one-and-a-quarter percent at 888.
