Description

Simha means 'lion' and mudra means 'symbol'. The final position of this posture resembles like the face of the lion and so the name Simha Mudra. It improves the blood circulation in the throat region and so the health of thyroid and parathyroid glands improves. This practice stimulates carotid body and sinus nerves. This in turn helps to control blood pressure. Remember to do this practice alternately with jivha bandha for 3 times.
