Ronald Peat - Art Critic

Description
This figurative-landscape of a raging storm
is two reclining nudes in a seductive form.
A swirl of silken pink is needed here
with some dabbled pearlessence there
in the center of the darker shadows
to give the frenzied texture a glistening-glow.
Oh, the highlights from the open window gleam
like sunlight upon a glinting stream,
and the mid-tones are truly rare
nothing so rosy-naked can compare.
The touch of the brushstrokes sizzle
while all the vivid colors dazzle.
The surreal perspective is dreamlike, infinite
yet the physical subject is so gushing, definite
I can only feel so tangibly amazed
the way the lady’s eyebrow is raised,
for I’m truly scumbled and glazed
in the application of the oil. I’m dazed,
dazzled by her euphoric distinct approach;
it’s so daring, so bold, so beyond reproach.
