I explained that I was trying to reset the code and she talked me through the process, not realizing I was changing it to the panic code. I then set my alarm and left home, again unknowingly setting off the panic code. Ms. Collins with Ackerman Security immediately called me again and talked with me until we figured out the problem. She asked me to call her when I returned home and she then helped me straighten it out, even having a technician call me to be sure it was okay.
