maitreyee joshi - #Stress
1 Views • Nov 10, 2014
Description
With a dull light.
A half-hearted sun
Hiding its face.
A cloudy, heavy sky
Ready for downpour
But somehow doesn't.
A lucky bamboo plant
That I planted with care
But now it withers
A pressure cooker
Building steam
Before it whistles
Tight calves
Eyes, staring, stalled
Midway between
Mind and the exterior.
Mind, a prisoner,
Of that one distressing thought.
Tremendous energy,
Bottled up,
Ready to take flight,
But stays put,
God knows,
For what inexplicable reason!
