As I roam,
In the lonely corridors,
Of my mind,
I flinch,
At the sensory lull,
And a moment dull.
Amidst a life full,
There is an empty, ghastly,
Loneliness.

So as I clear the cobwebs,
I see a mirror,
And I see me,
I talk to myself,
And I slowly,
Remove the embellishments,
That I carry as a burden,
For social compulsions.
And as i look eye to eye,
An hour of awakening,
Reckoning begins.

And as I take this,
Pregnant pause,
The seeds,
New ideas are born.

And without my knowledge,
The empty corridors,
Turn into a spa,
And me, rejuvinated!
