A thin film of glass,
Separates them.
The tears of those inside,
Vanish,
Like the fog disappearing,
On the windshield,
With the car A.C,
And the lump
In the throat,
Gulped hastily,
Like coke.

For those outside,
The tears have evaporated,
With the blazing sun,
And the lump,
In the hungry belly,
Never abates.

A thin film of glass,
Separates them.
Thin, impervious,
And enough,
To create a rift.
