Hello Athletes and Friends,
We're working on straight leg lateral slides. This is another post-workout exercise that is good for trunk rotation and activation, at the end of a workout. Start on your back with your legs straight, exhale your breath as your legs go towards the floor, keep your back on the ground along with the upper torso. In pilates you can turn your palms up in fitness u can keep your palms down so either method is fine. Inhale and squeeze on the core musculature as your bring legs back to the center . Repeat on the other side. Do not speed through this exercise. Control the trunk all the way through. Do this exercise for at least 90 sec when doing multiple sets so you can get a good amount of tension for both sides.
