Plot Summary

But as always, Kintaro secretly studies everything: storyboarding, drawing, cel-painting, editing, and the teamwork needed to finish a project. Despite looking like a fool, he throws himself into the work with relentless determination, staying up late and practicing endlessly.

When the studio faces a crisis, Kintaro surprises everyone by stepping in with unexpected skill and energy, helping to push the project forward. His enthusiasm and sincerity inspire the team, and even the strict director is forced to acknowledge his unique talent.

The episode ends with a flourish: a meta-twist where the anime Golden Boy itself is referenced, blurring the line between Kintaro’s “life study” and the very show the audience is watching.
