As you walked into the room,
Your beauty filled the air,
All eyes turned with a breath taking glance,
Your solitude translucent,
Your solace overwhelming,

What purpose does the emptiness fill,
What joy can come of such meaningless hunger,

Still night after night sitting alone,
Waiting, Watching, Yearning,
For someone to fill your void,
For someone to set you free,

And night after night you come to this place,
Hoping, Searching, Wanting,
Aging alone in your empty nest of tears.
