Yisel Chong - I feel old

Everywhere I stand,
My thoughts tend to wonder.
My eyes hold themselves so tight,
Not letting a tear drop.
I think of all the things,
that make up my life.
I think of all the things,
I tend to always let go.
I ask myself why I get discourage,
But nothing can explain.
No words tend to form.
Looking all around,
My surrounding looks so empty,
No matter of how many people,
There may be.
Nothing can fill this emptiness.
Not even the things I use to love.
I feel so old, and out of life.
I feel dead.
With no point of living,
Or anything to say.
Just pure nonsense.
I look at the beauty that god has for us,
But all they do is bring tears to me,
Knowing that I’ve lost all this time of light,
That he has put for us.
If only I could back up time,
That would be another story to tell.
