Yiling Ding - The Gardener Who Left
2 Views • Jun 11, 2014
Description
are blooming now
Just because the fruits
have ripened now
Just because the stems
have lengthened now
The gardener thinks
that he may now go on
to other endeavors.
But the flowers bloom for
those who love them
And now that they are
left all alone
they shrivel back into
silent death
With no one
to see their tears.
The gardener may return
some day
and blame the flowers,
'O! How could you
have withered when I
took so long to raise you! '
He will surely accuse them
for not learning to grow
without him.
But even adults
need love to live
and even they
have the right
to cry.
