Vaughn Bekker - Alone

I need to be alone and I don`t know why
I need to spread my wings, I need to fly
To soar through the clouds wild and free
And where the wind blows where to we`ll see
It`s not that I don`t like what I’ve got
Or that I’m not happy, that its` not
It`s just a feeling I can`t explain
It`s just I want to be on my own again
It was like that when I was small
Now it`s back now that I’m tall
The life I have now is wonderful and good
So why to be alone I never understood
But deep inside it calls to me
Come lets again together be
Been a long time since it was just me
Since my mind was empty and free
But how do you leave all that you love
Take off and just fly like a dove
I`m torn between two worlds who battle within
Daily the fight, I don`t know who will win
I try so hard to shed it, to get it out my head
The whole day it bugs me, even when I’m in bed
So how do I get you out and change this bugging urge
When all it does is through my soul surge
