The Lake is Hungry

Lake Michigan's waters are extremely dangerous and unpredictable - with steep sudden depths, strong undertow and waves that seem to kick up out of nowhere, it's not a safe spot to be in. Today we had a beach advisory due to strong winds and a storm rolling in - but tourists, being tourists, ignored all warnings and went trouncing right out into the waters and onto the forbidden pier. Hang out with my fiance and I as we wait to see whether Lake Michigan will eat these tourists, while frustrated beach patrol attempts (and fails) to get them off the pier before someone gets washed out and swept under.
