Steven Harris - An Empty Pub

Arrive at an empty pub
nobody in there not even the girls of the uni
just empty
the music is dull
the staff look like zombies on drugs
just a boring place to be at 7 o'clock
the only way to combat this evil is to get drunk
not allow this empty shell of a bar to get a hold of the fun
soak up the bordem with drink
with the people i'm with we can sing songs
get pig snacks and whiskey chasers
put music what we want to here on the jukebox
whiskey in the jar, smells like teen spirit, black sabbath
this place is going to be ours tonight
take it over and drown ourselves in beer and whiskey
just the 5 of us will make it full
no thought on how we will get home
wait for the bell to ring before we leave
forget everything tomorrow
the pains of the day will be forgotten
an empty bar on the side of the town
it's ours and nobody will take it.
