Sneha Murali - Life

Destiny depends on who you are,
Where you are and what you are.
Life is full of surprises, I agree,
But it curtails the liberty of being free.

We all have dreams to fly and run,
To travel around the world and to sit in the sun.
Life is dreams and dreams are life,
But we must go through a lot of struggle and strife.

The horror and fantasy of life and death,
Allows us to learn about our own life’s depth.
It may be deep or may be shallow,
And sometimes life may be hollow.

Life is like that, you all know,
It can be destroyed with one big blow.
But our heart keeps it going and makes it strong,
So we must never think that life is wrong.

(please be gentle as a lot of my poems were written by me a very very long time ago...when i was 12 yrs or sumthing...this is one of them)
