Sneha Murali - Friendless

i sit by the phone, but no one calls
not a soul, not even a single one
then a realization upon me falls
i got no friends, i'm friendless, of course!

i cry and i turn for a supporting shoulder
but nothing seems to be around me, no one
and then everything before my eyes seems blur
cos i got no friends, i'm friendless, u know!

when my heart feels full and heavy
i got no one to talk to at all
all by myself, always by myself you see
alone, no one for me, i'm friendless...

i try to search the back of my mind
to see if i've had any friends at all
people come and go, but friends i could not find
and i feel soo blue, soo damn sad, soo small

friendless i am, and friendless i'll be
cos i got no one who loves me for me
i got no one to understand me as a whole
no one to connect....body, mind and soul

i guess god's planned my book of life
a few pages still are left unwritten
hoping that some friends do come in and write
and i am friendless no more again then
