After having surgery and being released back to work the company refused to hire me back and laid me off due to lack of work or so they say. I am a union carpenter and contacted my union rep and he was not much help at all. Due to this situation i was forced to file bankruptcy and didn't have enough income to pay my bills. Is this a legal action as far a laying me off or did they have to temporarily offer me work. -
