Description

I moved a trifle
And a thousand city
Burned their lights out
So that only yours
Croons into the jet-black night

I heaved a sigh
And the silent malaise
Was a babel of voices
Roving above
The crowd inside my mind

And your every step,
Every breath you hauled inside,
Every string you touched,
And every drink you hoisted
Dissolved into my iron eyes

Every shard of you
Fleets in my horizon to gouge
The sullen pictures
Of an endless yesterday
And obfuscate the milieu –
So there is only you

You moved a trifle –
A profound trifling shudder
And everything in me
Moved a thousand times faster;
Eager to devour
An entire city or two
Into dusts,
Smaller
Than you

And every beginning that starts,
And every aftermath that’s left,
And every in between that’s lost,
Is just a zealous echo
Of your everything.
