Nirvana

Buddhists believe that nirvana is the highest form of human existence - a state of equilibrium after which there is no self, no desire, no vice, no pain, and no suffering. However, the road to it is filled with sharp stones, anguish, remorse, and arduous penance. That is the subject of the poem Nirvana. It lies at the intersection of several lives we may recognize from recent years.
