Nigel Koester - loveless lines

Does true love exist,
Or is it a myth.
Is it the one thing,
That i have to get.

How do i find it,
Where does it hide.
What does it feel like,
Deep down inside.

I take my best guess,
Fake all the feelings.
Try to interpret,
True lovers being.

I do not know it,
Even as a poet.
I've tried so hard,
But still can't expose it.

I write each verse,
And write each rhyme.
But fail every time,
With each loveless line.
