Nigel Koester - Deep Blue Pools

Deep blue pools smooth as glass.
Emotionless as they are true.
Passion lies in those deep blue pools,
But it hides, it hides from view.

Deep blue pools engulfed in flames,
Fire across the deep blue waves.
Terror rips across these once smooth seas,
Terror the deep fiery pools strike in me.

Whatever happened to the deep blue pools,
that are now burning and chaos strewn?
Whatever happened to the deep blue pools,
once so peaceful, beautiful and smooth?

How could I have disturbed these pools?
And turn the once smooth seas into many whirlpools.
How could I have disturbed the beauty in those eyes
turning the once calm pools into a flaming sea ride?

Oh what I would give to ride those deep pools again and cherish the calmness that lay within.
