Monday's market wrap

And here are the closing figures on the market--
Wall Street overcame its trade war fears on Monday,... due to signs the U.S. and China could open negotiations on their potential trade dispute.
With that,... all three major indices closed sharply higher.
The Dow Jones popped 669-points, or 2-point-8 percent, the biggest jump since August 2015,... and the third largest point gain in history.
The S&P 500 added 2-point-7 percent at 2,658-point-5 and the Nasdaq added a little over 3-percent to 7,220-point-5.
Shares in Korea rebounded on Monday,... with market heavyweights like Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix pushing up the benchmark KOSPI by around one-percent at 24-37.
The second-tier KOSDAQ spiked by nearly three-percent,... at 853-point-6-9.
