Method of Charging

Charging a body means creating unbalance of charge
Any body is said to be uncharged or neutral if balance
of positive & negative exist (Net charge is zero)


1. Charging By Friction:-
Transfer of electrons occur from body of low work function to a bod of
higher work function.
So the first body becomes positive charge and then body
become negative charge

(Note;- positively charge body losses some mass where negitively charged
body gain some mass.)


2. Charging By Induction:-
Electrostatic Induction is the phenomena of shift of charge in
a conduction due to presence of nearby charge bodies
it always occur in a conductor due to motion of free electron
In induction there is no actual transfer of electron from one body to
another body.
3. Charging By conduction ;-
(A). Conduction means electric connection between two
conduction.
(B). In Conduction charge actually flows from one body to
another
(C). Due to to conduction sharing of charge occurs between two
conductor. And if one is neutral then it will become charged.

Some electron transfer from sphere to the rod . Charge of rod get
reduced and then is unbalance of charge on sphere (due to lock
electron)
