Electrostatic Physics
Electrostatics, as the name implies, is the study of stationary electric charges. A rod of plastic rubbed with fur or a rod of glass rubbed with silk will attract small pieces of paper and is said to be electrically charged. The charge on plastic rubbed with fur is defined as negative, and the charge on glass rubbed with silk is defined as positive.
Charge & Electric Field
1. A positively charge body can can intact another positively charged body.
2. A positive charge body can interact a neutral body.
For Example = Charge Como attract neutral piece of paper
3. A positively charged body can't attract a neutral particle.
Conclusion;-
A positively charged body can attract positively charged body, but it cannot attract positively charged particle.
Charge
1. we can disturb the balance of charge in three ways:
(a) By Friction
(b) by induction
(c) by conduction
2. like mass, charge is a fundamental property of matter due to which is
interact with other charged body is positive
3. Photons have no rest mass & never it can't intact with other massive
bodies.
Similarly, Photon have no charge.
hence, it can't exert any electric force on another charge particles
4. Neutron can't experience electric force because it is missing ;the fund
fundamental property of charge
