Maldon Mud Race 2015

Maldon. Second oldest recorded town in Essex, situated on the estuary of the River Blackwater and home to the annual Mud Race. This year's race took place in April during a rather miserable, drizzly day, the same day as the London Marathon.

This was something new for me as I have only really done still photography at this event in the past. The video is far from perfect (given that the equpiment I use is very basic - it's the same thing that I use at Arena Essex!) but it was fun to do.

By the way - the yellow things being thrown out at the start were rubber ducks. The charity duck race at the start of the day seemed to run into a spot of trouble!
