The highway calls to say goodbye tonight
I thought the19 was on our side,
but the pale judgement
of my emotions never gave us
a chance to fight.
When all these dreams
and memories start
to slowly fade away.
I raise my glase and toast the stars,
'thanks for that moment in time
when I saw her eyes shine'.
Morning comes but I have yet
to see the sunrise,
my mind is still blurry
from last night.
I'll just close my eyes
and there's nothing more left to say.
