Is This Thermometer Good for Mushroom Growing?
10 Views • Dec 02, 2014
Description
Would a compost thermometer be good for mushroom growing? After all, you do need a certain temperature range for mushrooms to grow, which is more on the cool side, around 50 to 60 degrees F.
So, the answer is, you could, but it's not the best tool. This is because you want to measure the surrounding air, not the soil. Also, you need to measure the humidity as well, so your best bet is an all in one thermometer and hygrometer to measure humidity.
