How Can I Set Up Composting As a Learning Project?
6 Views • Dec 03, 2014
Description
A compost pile is a great teaching tool. It can be great for the whole family to teach your kids about the composting process and about taking care of the earth in general. And you know, they learn that it’s not icky, and it’s not smelly, and also that it’s really pretty easy to be kind of a mini-environmentalist.
But if you’re a teacher you probably see an even wider range that you can reach here. You can involve your whole class or whole grade in a compost pile. This is perfect if you happen to have a class garden.
