How C|PENT Helped Me Acquire New Pentesting Skills

Tom Updegrove, who recently acquired the L|PT (Master) credential, believes that achieving this has helped him see how he fits into the consensus of the world. In addition to being knowledgeable in C|PENT, he is also a Certified EC-Council Instructor (CEI) who is proficient in C|EH and the Essential series. Tom started his journey in information technology in the military. In the video, he discusses his experience with C|PENT and critical insights and preparation advice. Speaking about what he likes about the program, Tom says that the labs in C|PENT are very advanced and have come a long way. He adds that he has acquired invaluable new skills in the program, including IoT, firmware, mounting firmware, emulating binaries, working with debuggers, and operational technology, among others. Tom states taking the C|PENT challenge was a tough but enjoyable experience.
