Freedom Ride 2015

A group of 75 volunteers, as part of the Free Spirits Motorcycle Club rode and drove to a 102 year old government primary and high school in a small village, Honur, Kolar District on 45 bikes and 5 cars to mark the 69th Independence Day celebrations and dedicated the entire event in loving memory of our beloved Late President APJ Abdul Kalam

At the school these volunteers sponsored 10 benches for the kids at school, their uniforms, school bags, stationary, a microscope, installed a 20 litre water purifier for safe drinking water for the 77 wonderful kids at school. They joined the kids for breakfast, had a blast playing with the kids, felicitated five retired school teachers and also celebrated their beloved veteran Acharya's 68th birthday who is also a Limca record holder.

Amazing experience and a day really well spent.
