Forever Underestimated - Free

It's strange to think
That just a few weeks ago
I was hiding
From myself.
But now that I'm not,
I'm so glad that I'm free;
Free of the lies;
Free of the secrets;
Free of the fear
That's lied in me
For so long.
I was too afraid to admit
Who I am,
And I was too blind to see
I was hurting myself
Through it.
But now I'm not,
And I know another piece
Of me.
You might say I'm a freak,
But I know I am.
This is me.
Nothing can change that
No matter what.
