I've been broken so many times
Mentally abused
Scared out of my mind
Silent
I don't trust anyone
They lie
I can see it in their eyes
But then there's you
I can't NOT trust you
No matter how much it kills me
God, I don't even KNOW you
And you're already my savior
I need to talk to you
Listen to you
Hear your heartbeat
Know it's pure
I need to look into your eyes
And see your soul
There's nothing need more
I need you to hug my head to your chest
And whisper
'It's ok,
I'm here
Forever.'
But, for now that's just a dream
You don't even know me
And you probably never will
No matter how much I need you
Fairytales are never real
But, I know, whether I can admit it or not
I think I love you
It scares me
But it's true
