Forever Underestimated - Dark

When you're in the dark,
All you hope for
Is the light.
You hope and pray
Day after day,
But after so long,
You're still trapped.
How did I even get to this point?
The light has vanished.
The smiles are fake.
What happened to the happy days?
What it always just an act?
Were the smiles ever fact?
I'm not sure anymore.
I'm in the dark
And nobody knows
But me...
