Ducks Get Ramp to Access US Capitol Reflecting Pool

The Architect of the Capitol’s office is making way for ducklings at the US Capitol. The group, which serves as a steward for the capitol, said</a> on Monday, May 15, it had installed ramps for ducks to reach the reflecting pool more easily.

On Tuesday, a group of ducklings were spotted using the ramp, though some missed walking up the ramp itself.

The organization worked with City Wildlife and other organizations to create the ramp. There are currently four broods, or families, of Mallard ducks residing in the reflecting pool, according to the AOC office.
