A cold front rolled through Oklahoma on Thursday, January 11, with wind and winter weather behind it. Wind gusts of 40-50 miles per hour were expected behind the cold front, according to the National Weather Service</a>.
Snow and freezing rain also swept across the state with the cold front, and colder temperatures were expected overnight.
