Dream interpretation - a psychoanalytic approach

It was a part of a 12-month lecture series on Indian psychoanalysis (2012 -2013) . The speaker was Pulkit Sharma, a well-known clinical psychologist, psychoanalytic therapist, spiritual counselor and author now based in Pondicherry, India.

In this talk, Pulkit Sharma draws upon different psychoanalytic approaches and his vast psychotherapy experience to explain how we can interpret a patient's dreams and nightmares. He cautions that dream interpretation is not ‘instant noodles’ - one needs to have a good deal of understanding about personality and unconscious of the dreamer to understand their dreams. The highlight of the talk is the different types of dreams and three methods of dream interpretation.
