50,000 people in the Stadium, 1,400 volunteers on stage. Broadcasted live in 7 countries. The largest Opening Ceremony ever produced for a football stadium, with outstanding mass choreography, the participation of Heads of State, colorful parades and a spectacular pyro show, ending with a concert by Beyoncè.
The Ceremony won the Eventia Award 2010 as "Best Celebratory Event".
