David Dewar - The Man

22 stories up,
a man with cruel intentions.
His morbid face contorts,
into ugly dimensions.
A thin lipped smile creeps across his face,
a man with demons always on the chase.
a life of misery he endured,
something no doctor he saw could have cured.
one solution remained however,
did his life matter to the world?
never.
A simple leap is all it took,
thus ended the last chapter in his book.
not a leap of faith but a leap of hope.
a false hope of freedom,
just so he could cope.
his hopes were shattered like his body,
which was later carried away on a cold silver trolley.
