Description
It's a song that I often find myself playing when picking up the guitar; the slightly unusual semi-open barre chords giving it a interesting sound. Quite personal and of the moment, with a dash of frustration in the rather frantic and plaintive middle bit! The 'festooned' of the title was a word that was used by my muse, which I'd never heard before and seemed a bit posh, and so it inspired the song.
In the recording process, I went with the flow and added the 'I love yous' and a 'new' ending. A simple home demo and video. Another ' tinkersong' done!
