Car Dangles Precariously From California Overpass

A car was left hanging over the guardrail of an interchange overpass in Corona, California, after the driver lost control of the vehicle on Monday, May 15.

According to reports from ABC 7</a> and The Press-Enterprise</a>, the vehicle was a 2003 Honda Civic driven by 23-year-old Syed Abdullah and the accident occurred at the interchange between the northbound 15 Freeway to the westbound 91 Freeway.

Abdullah told The Press-Enterprise that he had attempted to change lanes and lost control of the car. He was helped out of the passenger side-door by another driver on the freeway and was uninjured.

The freeway was temporarily shut down as Corona Fire Department crews stabilized the teetering car. This footage shows the vehicle from a distance.
