Bartender and Mixology Training

The Bartender and Mixology Training course is a must-have according to industry standards. This course covers correct preparation methods, standard mixing techniques, and product knowledge pertaining to all beverage categories: spirits, liqueurs, cocktails, shooters, wine and beer. Participants will be provided with a course manual that includes all of today's top drink recipes, basic product knowledge and tips for service excellence.
Participants must successfully complete both practical and written multiple choice tests, incorporating the theory and hands-on skills acquired throughout the course. Certification issued. Must be 18 years of age or older.

3 Hour Bartending Workshop

This course is designed for anyone who wants to learn to make fabulous drinks for home parties or for those who want a taste of what working behind a bar is really like. This 3 hour introduction to bartending covers the basics of mixing a good cocktail. Learn standard mixing techniques, the art to shaking cocktails and gain product knowledge. We will cover a selection of drink recipes from our Bartender Training Certification Course.

The Wine Council of Ontario Certification of Merit Program

The Wine Council of Ontario Certification of Merit Program is a self-study introductory wine program which teaches participants about the appellations and sub-appellations of Ontario wines, wine service and food and wine pairing principals. Participants will be provided with a newly released Wine Appellations of Ontario: An Introductory Course book with review exercises. Participants are able to take as much time as required to complete the program. Certification provided upon successful completion of the final exam administered at iTrain's training facility.
