ANDREW BLAKEMORE - Pure Waters

The river does shine in the valley of sunlight
As it flows gently around rock and stone,
Its sound is like music from heaven that's playing
It roams and it wanders as I watch alone.
Pure waters so clear breathing life to the landscape
So cool and refreshing on this summer's day,
Giving me strength to walk on in the distance
Viewing its wonder I follow its way.

The hillsides surrounding the valley of sunlight
So green and so pretty that now lies before,
They tower above me and I feel so lucky
To witness the sight of this vision once more.
Pure waters so clear breathing life to the landscape
So cool and refreshing on this summer's day,
Giving me strength to walk on in the distance
Viwing its wonder I follow its way.

The skies up above in the valley of sunlight
Blue as a sapphire and still is the air,
A picture of peace in this place of such beauty
Leading me forth to the joys it does share.
