ANDREW BLAKEMORE - Jasmine
2 Views • Nov 08, 2014
Description
Its flowers of the purest white,
They touch my soul with deepest joy
As they now shine in morning light.
Like flakes of snow they rest upon
The leafy stems of green surround,
So fragile that my heart would break
If one should fall down to the ground.
The dew does rest in droplets fine
And as the sun does slowly rise,
Between the branches of the trees
A mirror of the dawning skies.
The jasmine grows beside the fence
With radiance like stars above,
As there within the shadows lie
It yields to me a sign of love.
