Amanda Lukas - Her One Constant

A glisten of hope
shines in her eye
and she smiles contently
through constant turmoil.
In studying her features,
I have come to a conclusion
of my own:

It seems that no matter
the variable (bring pain, bring sorrow, bring fear) ,
the one constant is her
undeniable joy -
her wise smile
stretching from ear to ear.
