Amanda Lukas - Because You're Worth It

If a million teardrops made rolling rivers
and each tiny teardropp prism that cast
a rainbow glow upon your wall
brought to you as much delight
as you bring me with a smile,
I'd flood the world with tears.

If one firefly lit up the sky brighter than the sun
and, by watching one of its dancing rays,
your starlight eyes sparkled for me,
than each day those eyes would see fireflies,
and I would live happily.

If every little line I wrote spelled out my love for you,
and each syllable found it's place,
nestled in your heart and in your dreams,
where I so long to be,
I would write a never-ending story.
