Yiling Ding - Flightless Birds

We're just flightless birds
waiting an eternity to find love
With our clipped and injured wings
in silence we stare at the dark sky
And the ground keeps sinking
down, down until we are even
farther away from the happiness
that our unfettered minds are seeking
But still we are holding to
an agonizing hope
And we are waiting here
for you to find us.
